Parent/Caregiver Training Series

Parent/caregiver education is essential for the success of ABA. At Bear With Me Behavior Solutions, we educate. With our Parent/Caregiver Training Series, we take an intense approach to getting you educated on the science of applied behavior analysis and trained on how applied behavior analysis can be applied to our clients' individual needs.

Our  exclusive Parent/Caregiver remote training series brings opportunities for families to engage in services from any location and at flexible times that work for busy schedules. These sessions are private and can be customized based on BCBA recommendation, team collaboration, and caregiver availability. Services are generally scheduled on a weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly basis.

Each session is assigned a topic using evidence based methods, parents are walked through lessons and given a 1:1 training experience. Since no two parent/caregiver training sessions should ever be the same, through assessment our professionals develop an intimate curriculum that focuses on basic foundations and individual need.

Our training series can be completed as a stand alone service, or it can be incorporated into traditional ABA case management. What your training will look like varies based on professional recommendation and individual need. 

 

Upon completion of Parent/Caregiver Training Series, parents will have all of the skills necessary to implement behavioral intervention that is tailored to them and their families. 

 

Before services begin, our BCBA will conduct an intake assessment in order to gain a thorough understanding of individual need. A treatment plan will then be created for our parents/caregivers, with specific goals that they wish to achieve during the training series. Then, parents can work collaboratively through each lesson, using different evidence based techniques, to achieve those goals.

 

Some families will begin applying their skills right away, while other families might just want the education. Regardless, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with our BCBA to make sure your experience not only works for you, but also makes sense for your situation.
